NEW Yoga series: Yoga for Trauma

Current research shows that yoga practices are integral to moving forward beyond trauma. In this six-week series, we will discover how grounding and centering mindfulness practices, simple breathing exercises, and gentle movements can provide a space for the the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies to release and heal. These practices can then be integrated into daily life in an effort to manage and navigate physical, emotional, and spiritual responses to trauma. This series offers a reminder that we can find a healthy sense of control in the moment, that we have our breath with us all of the time, and that we can set healthy boundaries in order to feel safe in any space.

Yoga for Trauma is appropriate for anyone who identifies as having experienced or witnessed a traumatic event – violence, victimization, loss, injury, or other.

This 6-week series begins April 19th / Wednesdays @ 5.45 pm - 6.45 pm
